"There is only one performer here, but it's not me, I don't know who he is... I don't exactly understand him, who is doing all this. This person has a much more true and genuine life than I do. He lives the life I would only like to live. And the tragedy of all this is that I can't be like him. This is a personal tragedy and has nothing to do with the performance. This is the myth I would like to get into. A part of myself may even be in there already. I am too far guilty, far too worldly to get in there with my whole being."

The solo performance tells the journey of an artist, Arpheus, in the frame of a post-folk, neopunk musical about love, life, death, time and the stars...

The performance was inspired by the figure of Orpheus, whose name means single, lonely. The legendary ancient Greek hero was an outstanding poet and musician. He could even charm the gods with his songs, but when his wife, Eurydice, died, he failed and could not save her and bring her back to the world of the living. Orpheus was inconsolable at the loss of his wife, so he spurned the company of women and kept apart from ordinary human activities in the rest of his life.
